Oba of Lagos was just joking with us –Pat Utomi assures Igbos.

Highly respected economist, Prof. Pat Utomi has said that the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu was just joking with the Igbos when he said that any Igbo person who refused to vote for Akinwumi Ambode in the Lagos governorship election will be thrown into the water.

Pat Utomi said the Oba say a lot of things to him whenever they meet but that the man does not take all that serious, as he is very friendly and accommodating. He said the Igbos should not be worried:

I hope all those who are crying more than the bereaved can now see that the Oba meant no harm?
